Servant's Guide

We have a place for you to serve!

Advertising: This ministry would focus on publicizing the church to our community

Altar Counselor: Those involved with this ministry would be responsible for standing at the altar during the end of a church service and being available to pray with and direct members of the congregation during the pastor’s altar call.

ARK: This ministry is geared towards giving our young people a positive night out on the weekend by opening the facilities to the teens for genuine Christian fellowship.

Art: This ministry would handle anything involved beautifying things either internally or externally for the church with creativity.

AWANA: This service is geared towards our children for a midweek time of games, Scripture memorization, and crafts to prepare them for the lives they will lead in Christ.

Baptism: The servants here are responsible for preparing the baptismal candidates for the wonderful process of baptism. They would be required to meet with the candidates before the baptism and be responsible for cleaning the dressing area and gowns.

Choir: Ministry opportunity which enables the servants to worship God through music. The choir performs on Sunday mornings throughout the year.

Church Website: Any minister in this area would be responsible for improving the website by adding new levels of creativity to catch people searching for a new church.

Communion: This ministry is responsible for setting up and taking down the communion area for our communion services.

Drama: Ministry that enables opportunities to express the Gospel message through creative expression of drama. Open to various ages for both the missions’ field and for the service on Sunday.

Electrician: Servants that maintain and troubleshoot electrical problems at the church. Also, used to construct new, creative ideas that may help the church’s technology.

Fundraising: Coordinators that organize events to help the church to be able to accomplish more activities.

Funeral Dinners: Fantastic ministry opportunity to serve the grieving by preparing meals at their time of loss.

Heat/Air/Plumbing/Labor: Special area of ministry in which professional services to help construction and building maintenance.

Home Bible Study (Mailings): Servants here are responsible for maintaining the mail-in Bible study in which a great deal of the congregation is involved.

Home Bible Study (Small Group): Leaders here are responsible for leading a small group home Bible study. Fantastic teaching opportunity and chance to open up your home for God’s work.

Junior Church: Time of games, crafts, and solid Bible teaching for our children during the regular church services.

Junior High Youth Group (New Creations): Fun time of games, interaction and Bible study for kids in both 7th and 8th grades.

Maintenance/Mechanic: Ministry responsible for maintaining and checking all the vehicles owned by the church.

Monday Night Dinners/Study: Responsible for preparing the education building for the Monday Night dinner. Opportunities for both cooking and organization.

Music Ministry: Opportunity to serve God through singing, playing instruments, or stage help for the worship band.

Nursery: Servants responsible for caring for our young ones during the church services.

Photography: Ministry that takes pictures and videos of special church events and services.

Prayer Chain: Ministry that takes emergency prayer requests during times of need.

Scripture Reader: Ministry for gentleman responsible for reading God’s Word during the church service.

Senior Saints: Servants in charge of caring and organizing events for our senior saints.

Sound System: Ministry responsible running the mixing board for the worship service.

Senior High Youth Group (Straight-Up): Time of fellowship, games, and Bible teaching for our teenagers from 9th through 12th grades.

Sunday Refreshments: Responsible for running the fundraising refreshment table on Sunday mornings.

Sunday School: Ministers here are responsible for teaching and guiding those involved in both the children and the adult Sunday school program.

Tapes/CD’s: Ministry that involves recording and reproducing copies of the church services for the congregation to purchase.

Tracts: Responsible for helping to distribute pamphlets of the Gospel message to the unsaved.

Transportation Coordinator: Ministry in which we assist those in the area unable to make it to church by picking them up in the church vehicle.

Ushers: Ministers who are responsible during the service to make sure the congregation is seated well. Also responsible for collecting the offering, taking attendance, and greeting visitors.

Video: Ministry used during the services which enhances the worship by way of PowerPoint and worship software.

Women’s Ministry: Responsible for organizing women’s dinners, events, and events available to women.
